Today, circumstances are getting worse for these individuals, while new families are facing even greater difficulty. Requests for urgent assistance from community agencies are growing.

This year, Centraide is called upon to play a more important role than ever to support people who find themselves in precarious situations : children, teenagers, families, seniors, immigrants and persons with disabilities.

The 18 Centraides of Quebec combat poverty and social exclusion by supporting over 1,700 local community agencies that help more than 1.5 million needy people in every region of the province.
